10/10

My rating is based on the single DVD I rented a while ago. Now I would like to buy the DVD and don't know whether to buy the 2-disc set or not? To all of you who possess the collector's edition: How much Jim Carrey is there on the second disc? Is it really worth the extra money (for a Jim fan)? Well, I guess the "3 Featurettes of Sound Design" and the "4 Special Effects Featurettes" do not include Jim. But what are those 5 Featurettes ("A Terrible Tragedy") about?
Can anyone help me out please?

8-12, somethings really done amazingly well, others, enh!OK.
mostly very well done.
The Amazing outweighed the Enh.
I only have the one disc, I liked watching the movie and the
Commentary with the director & Lemony putting in the tidbits of making the movie.
I love listening to the little stories intertwined with the characters/actors and the how to of making the movie and it's challenges.
I also went back and read the book while I watched the movie,
nice to be able to pause etc,
they really chose the perfect character looks even if it was a bit different from the movie, for example
Klaus was suppose to have glasses,(that probably would have made
him look too much like Harry Potter though) good choice to omit the glasses.
The Italian guy was suppose to have an accent, I'm glad they did it the way they did.
Sham was different too, and I think it worked well, it was nice to see
the different character/looks and know what was chosen.

My husband is the same way, but sometimes it can be kinda scary too..
never know what they are going to do and often totally embarassing or
unconventional.

I'm that way too, only in different ways, more of a fun way, I don't take risks as much, unless I'm challenged.
