When i started love Jim

Postby Realdini » Sat Nov 26, 2005 8:16 pm

Everyone loves Jim for a reason.
They might have seen him in a movie they like.
Some poeple just think he is nice looking.
This is my story.

When I was younger I loved spending time with my aunt.
She had all the cool channels and CartoonNetwork and all that kind of stuffs.
I was about 5 years I think or might younger, and I lover watching cartoon.
My biggest favorite was The Mask.
he was the coolest one I could imagine.
He could be just what he wanted, he had a dog and he was so funny.
When I had watched almost everyone of the episodes they showed the real The Mask ( the one I watched before was cartoon) and I was a bit older but I didnt understand what they siad and I know how to read but I didnt care... It was Jim Carrey and it was all that matters. (I didnt knew it was him but I lover The Mask)
I really loved the movie and I watched the 2th later.
When I was about 9 years I had watched many movie from Jim Carrey and I really loved him and not before then I knew that it was him that was The Mask and then I knew that it was why I loved him so much... I grew up with him and he made me laught many times.
Thats my story...

It wasn't any movie he was in that made me fan enough to look online.

In fact, I have no idea how I ended up at this site, on this board.

Before her brain damage my mother said one day, "That Jim Carrey is a really nice-looking man."

Out of the blue. Between then and now life got incredibly complicated for me.

I think maybe it was Lemony Snicket that made me find this site.

I had watched all his movies, but was never curious enough to 'look him up'. So I read a few of his interviews on the internet and felt he's WAY more than an actor. He came across as very frank with a unique take on most things...some quite profound (I love anything profound :) ) Another reason I keep sticking around here is that his smile just makes my day...I can't put my finger on it, but I guess his combination of talent/playfulness/positivity is sometimes the only thing that makes me smile.

For me it was gradual, I saw him in Lair Liar when I was VERY young and didn't get half of it. Then I saw Ace 2. . . I loved it. I liked his sheer playfulness. So I re-watched Liar Liar (I was older) and I absoloutly adored the man. . . he's somewhat of a role-model for me. . . His movies are 1 of only two things that can lift my depression. . . (the other is talking to friends, on here and otherwise.)

it was kind of the same for me......i first saw Ace Ventura 1 and liked but too young to remember why......then saw the mask and dumb and dumber about a few years later and i was hooked.....and, like jimenem, watching his movies (or thinking about them) helps lift me out of my down and out state.....that and talking to friends and listening to music.

I have always loved his sense of humor. It was the interviews that I would catch on TV that really got my attention. (The one on CBS News is what brought me to this board.) I found so much in common with his responses that were within me....I love his "handsome-dork"quality!! I love that he doesn't take himself too seriously, isn't afraid to be himself. I also love that he is somewhat insecure in spite of his determination to be himself, and admits it.
