Hmmm... that's bad... but take a deep breath and relax... do your part well and you will feel better....

I feel ok... it's raining and I miss the sunshine...I am a sunshine-driven person (whatever it means...) I think I get my energy from the sun... I feel the blues in grey days... :-s

For everyone who hates school work and tests -

School is only a tiny percentage of your life. When you're not there anymore, you'll think 'Wow, it's over. I'm now in the real world'
I miss getting up for school every morning, and I never thought I'd EVER say that when I was there.
I'd even happily sit and do some homework. It's dead easy compared to the stuff I have to do these days. I have to juggle college and work, and it's NOT easy!
Just sit back and think about it. Get the work done, and get good grades, becuase if you keep complaining about it, you won't do as well, and you'll never get that job you want.
I swear to all of you, school is NOWHERE NEAR as bad as you think it is!

I never said I hated school..I just said that i think its boring with homeworks..... I am very good in all the things in school so i am not worried of not getting a job when I am like 18 .....

I'm not saying you do, but other people have. I wasn't targetting you, Realdini, I just wanted everyone to know that life mostly sucks after school if you don't get the grades you want.

Over here, we usually try to get a job when we are 16. I personally started work when I was 14, but I didn't get paid for it. You'll want a job sooner than you think, too, because money suddenly starts to really mean something when you are 16/17.

yeah and when you are 17/18 you should think about college............ ..............

it doesn't have to be uni...........but something to give you a good solid qualification...........

i think the trades........plumbling, electrician, builder etc etc have had a bad press over the last 20 years............but these are the folk who are making the big money now..........

i would say be a plumber................they make a fortune and they are rare now.........

I just got told that I probably won't have a place to live by the end of this week....as was previously promised.

Ok...while I'm down....would anyone else like to kick me?

I miss my college years... did lots and lots of homework... some were fun, some weren't ... But, I learned a lot, had fun, got an internship that landed me a job... went back to school years later for more training... I am a true believer in education, no matter what one chooses to do...

You can read newspapers in your area on-line..

Postby Canadian Jayne » Tue Nov 22, 2005 7:11 pm

that's how I looked for apartments in my area, I know it sometimes takes alot of calling but just keep praying and calling. Also tell as many people as you know, what area you want and they will help look for you too.
The search is on.. think of it as an adventure.

Everything's just up in the air and I'm waiting for it to settle.

It seems to have some antigravity property and just wants to stay up in the air.

And I'm waiting down here in the meantime.
