Did you ever read the Dark Tower books? I am not a great Lord of the Rings fan but I like the movies (didn't read the books though). Normally I also hate fantasy (I read Espionage Thriller and something like that) and all Stephen King movies are crap. But the film "It" was also very bad although the book was good. I read the Dark Tower books at the moment because many of my friends forced me to do it. And it was good that they convinced me, the Dark Tower is excellent, Lord of the Rings is nothing against it.
However, to come to your question:

I did not read the Lemony Snicket books but the movie was okay. If I compare it with Eternal Sunshine, it was super, if I compare it with Dumb and Dumber, it was crap. Jim Carrey played well in it but without him I would not like the movie very much. A little bit because of the funny humour (because of the humor I nearly read the books) but not very much.

EDIT: Argh, too late.

@last question: I didn't see Narnia (and don't think that it is very good) and I don't like Harry Potter so I answer like cablegal did before: Neither.

Do you like Jackie Chan?

I liked him in the rush hour movies, but lately movies like Around the world in 80 days, and the medalion, and the tuxedo. . . are all so cheesy and corny. . .Yes and no.

What's your faveorite will smith movie?

Not so much. The most songs I hear are in German or in English. Sometimes I hear some in Japanese or in another language where I understand nothing but as long as they sound good it's okay.

Did you ever see a German movie?

EDIT: Damnit, another time too late  :) .
