Reactions are mixed, but this feels right to me. I'd never thought it would be that easy accepting those characters 20 years older ... but it's like they never left in first place. Lots of jokes, chemistry is there, I laughed out loud. Thumbs up.

Like I said in the other thread: Awesome. They almost look like in the first part. From the expressions, the clothing, everything. Also cool that they seem to have the car back (at least they have it on the poster).

Yes, since it's the trailer thread.

One of my friends is a big Dumb & Dumber fan, it's his favorite movie. He actually disliked the trailer, saying it was unfunny and somewhat vulgar. It felt nothing like the original according to him and everything seemed forced.

That's how different people can feel ... On the internet the reactions are extremely mixed. Lots of good reactions, lots of bad ones also. All coming from people who are fan of the first.

I'm curious about the end result and I'm on the bright side. Although there weren't many good jokes, I believe it has the right spirit. And I had to laugh with them being them.

At the end of The Today Show interview, we see the start of a trailer (teaser). One that was different from the one we already know. Did anyone see that trailer on TV?

Also, I've seen the international trailer on YouTube on the official channel, which is exactly the same (different color tone, in fact) ... At the end of that, there were these "other YouTube selections" that showed a different shot. It was Loyld and Harry on the big stripties-car (I don't know how that machine is called), driving in bad weahter and Loyld did his "Look, I'm running fast"-thing he did in the original. Can't find the video anymore now.

awarded Jane Fonda with the AFI Award

Jeff Daniels wrote a song for her called something like

I hear the Farrelly Brothers liked
"Cat Ballou" also one of my favorites
The music sequencing and arrangement was excellent
so timely, the right music with the right effect.
Tried to look up who did the music arrangements
but couldn't find it.

Sometimes I think music can make or break a movie.
