Spring is here already!

Postby fluffy » Fri Jan 26, 2018 10:17 am

It's getting earlier and earlier now but for the past 10 days or so the snowdrops and crocuses have started to poke out of the earth, the days feel a little longer and we're not getting up in total darkness. The wee birds are starting to get ready for Spring and the poor Canadian geese don't know whether to go away, or come back from their Winter holidays. Have you noticed any changes yet? :D

For those who have dogs
Some people up here
Have said their dogs r
Shedding earlier than
Usual getting rid of the old
Thick coat and getting
The new one for spring
I hope its an early spring
We just have to look
At the sgns of nature and
That may tell us something

I pay attention to the geese here, they seem to know when the weather and seasons will change

I think the groundhog
Predicted 6 more weeks
Of winter in SW Ontario
But I could be wrong
Beautiful sunshine this
Morning but very cold
Now tonight cold warnings
For weekend

I was reading somewhere
In the news
Someone was bit by a groundhog
Now rhats what i call
"Biting the hand that feeds you"
If u crossed a ground hog and a rabbit you'd have a groundhop;)

We have some of those
Kinds here too
My daughter was bit by
A dog last year
Oh it was nasty
She was just walking along passed someone who was walking their dog
On a leash
She stepped even to avoid being
In the range of the dog and
And it just up and bit her
Even with being on a leash

From the sky to combat it

Along the edge of the forest
Somewhere hunting
Theyre wearing really old
Style Canadian hunting gear
Muskets, racoon hats
