Recently
I was thinking about
The question from the bible
Genesis 4:10
“Am I my brothers keeper?”
God knew the answer
But
He still asked it
The true answer is “ Yes,
we are our brothers keeper”
Often parent have asked
“Where’s your little brother?”
Or “Where’s your little sister?”
Oft times it’s said
“I don’t know”

The reply is either
Because we were sidetracked
In our own selves and just
Forgot to watch or
We, like Cain did not care, in
Fact hid the truth or
A multiple of other reasons
But
The consequences were horrific to Cain
Cain was afraid his family would be
Destroyed forever
But
God showed mercy
That Cain himself did not show
When he did what he did

I think of COVID
And how it affects everyone
Even the weakest and vulnerable
So much
Strife
It can bind us together or
pull
Us apart
Severed from the tie that binds
Us to the human family
Contention, anger hate
VS
Comraderie,joy,love
Will COVID Bind us or Pull us apart ?

It was really nice
So thankful for
This message of
Peace
I pray all
Will have a peaceful
And a love Filled
Holiday celebrations
All over the world
