Hope you're doing just fine.

I just wanted to announce (brace yourself Jimmie you'll have a field day with this one ) that I won't be able to be here the whole summer, starting from the 29th this month! I've gotten a summerjob in a diffrent city from here, and it's such a tiny city it doesn't even have an Internet café!

Anyway, I just wanted to write this incase anyone will wonder where I've gone. Cable Girl is very loyal to her Cable Guy you see!

Well, I'd rather have gotten a summerjob which aloud me to have more spare time anyway, or atleast a proper Internet connection somewhere. That way I'd have the best of both worlds!

In other words... get a life!!! Of course I'd luv to make friends in that city as well. Unfortunately though my future boss told me that no supervisors in the past has gotten any friends while having a summerjob there. But that doesn't mean that it's impossible.

it is possible to make friends at your summer job. make friends with fellow supervisors. respect the ones that you are supervising. . . in other words, don't treat them like the shit that they feel like they're feeling when they're being told what to do and how to do it (if it comes to that). just be nice and i'm sure they'll grow fond of you and realize that you're not out to make their LIFE miserable. you know?

i don't know the situation that you're being put in, but make the best of it and you will be happy. all this will pay off.

...and carreypunkrawker; those are exactly my point of views on the whole thing too, though my twin (who's going to be a supervisor too), my mom, and my future boss all said that it's impossible to make friends while being one! I don't believe so at all though; you should treat others the way you want to be treated yourself, plus I liked my supervisor in England so if you ask me to get people to like you as a supervisor can't be an impossible task!
