I scanned a tiny part of The London Free Press may 2,1981

if it is too blurry and you can't read it this is what it says

His rise so far has been meteoric. He began in
show biz 2&1/2 years ago after quitting grade 10.
He started at Yuk Yuk's,
playing the late-night amateur sets. The club owners
kept asking him back and within 6 months he was a headliner.

Now the audiences go crazy. When he did his Tom Jones
in Montreal, some women threw hotel keys and
panties with their phone numbers on them on the stage.
Carrey picked the paraphernalia up and said "Gentlemen,
get out your pens" and began reading out loud.
Another fan rushed up to the stage and pulled a corset
over his head.

Those girls sound like our type of people don't they Fluffs? :wink:
