Jim, as a lifelong fan of yours, I have got to ask. You have never had a beard until now. I am just curious why you grew it. It doesn't look bad, I just have been so used to seeing you without one for so long it just looks different.

Ummm Jim Carrey doesn't come on here...not that we know of. And anyway, he has had a beard before..way back in the '90s and then after that, sometime recently. He probably has worn a beard between then, just not in public. You can probably tweet him and ask him why but he's said in recent promotional interviews that it's basically just a style choice.

Personally, I love the beard! A friend of mine hates it, and refuses to watch anything involving Jim with his beard.
