My personal favourites on disc 1 are the Ghostbusters theme, Don't you forget about me from the Breakfast club (r.i.p John Hughes), People are strange from the Lost Boys (it makes me think of Jim sometimes).
I llove your titles I've seen most of the titles you've mentioned there! They're brill movies.

I know they're just starting out, (although if you're familiar with Panic! at the Disco, you'll recognise two of the members) but I'm really loving the band The Young Veins at the moment. They're very Beatles-esque, but from America. hehe. Their album isn't out 'til June but if you have a search online you can find a few of their songs.

Right now I'm listening to "Coin Operated Boy" by The Dresden Dolls.
But during the past 2 weeks, I can't stop listening to "Welcome to the Black Parade" by My Chemical Romance. I have never loved a song as much as this one!

"Roads" by Portishead.
Their music is very laid back and relaxing. I need it pretty bad right now, I had a very long weekend.

@ happygirl: I haven't heard that song in forever!!!
coin...operated boy, sitting on the shelf, he's my favorite toy when I turn him on and he comes to life........lol
I would give anything to listen to something being play back in the mid 90's from the U.S.; grunge, pop, r&b and old school rap
(sighs) those were the days...

I totally know what you mean @mysticwryter. I love hearing old school music because it brings back so many memories from when I was younger.

Exactaly!!! Lots of those songs (Gin Blossoms they bring back a lot of road trips) just flood back into my head and I'm sitting there smiling.
Me and my husband listen to almost anything 90's now. It just make us seem more cheerful and more alert during the day. I love it!!
