Hey I've got great news for you! On Thursday, the network announced it’s reuniting original cast members of The Carol Burnett Show for a two-hour 50th anniversary special. Burnett – who is expected to reminisce about her fondest memories of the variety show, which ran for 11 seasons, and reflect on its impact — will be joined by cast members Vicki Lawrence and Lyle Waggoner and costume designer Bob Mackie “I can’t believe how fast the time went, and what makes me the happiest is that so much of the funny stuff we did still holds up today, and we can share it with generations to come,” said Burnett in a statement. “What a great ride!” Filmed on the show’s original Stage 33 soundstage at CBS Television City in Los Angeles, The Carol Burnett 50th Anniversary Special will also feature several special guests: Jim Carrey, Kristin Chenoweth, Stephen Colbert, Harry Connick Jr., Bill Hader, Jay Leno, Jane Lynch, Bernadette Peters, Maya Rudolph and Martin Short. The Carol Burnett 50th Anniversary Special will air Sunday, Dec. 3 at 8 p.m. on CBS. source: http://ew.com/tv/2017/09/07/carol-burnett-show-reunion-happening-for-50th-anniversary/

Hey JCO:
I'm very glad that Jim Carrey is gonna be on the 50th Anniversary Carol Burnett Special. I also hope that Carol will mention retired actor/singer Jim Nabors (Gomer Pyle), he was always on the first show of every season premiere of "The Carol Burnett Show". The last Jim Carrey worked with Carol Burnett was when he did a voice over on "Horton Hears a Who".
I'm very happy that Jim Carrey is doing big events nowadays after being isolation for 2 years. It's great to see him again. I hope he'll doing more things this year.
Terry Marvin (Dallas, Texas,USA)
P.S. I'm very glad that yall found the video of Jim's upcoming projects.

Wow I remember that show because we used to watch it as a family all the time. And I rember the time she read the letter and It made me sad THAT'S all I'm gonna comment on this I'm glad he's over it but I'm not. Her reaction really made a negative thing inside my stomach and heart I felt hurt even though she wasn't talking about me it wasn't my letter she was reading but. That's how I felt that was my dream fantasy too kinna was neat hearing a kids wish on tv I was a happy moment.. then she reacted same way my family did making fun and laughing.. so thank God JC is able to face that today and run it in for as long as we live Sweet I'm glad. The best pay back ever is proving those who made fun or whatever Wrong I love that whole thing. He was destined to succeed

Kids r so pure in communication Sometimes adults forget How purely real they are I think of Elvis in Blue Hawaii Where there is a little boy Who says "Can i play too" Elvis says something like "Sure kid, just find your own girl First" or something like that
