Icy Storms in Ontario

People have batten down the hatched
Here in Ontario
Alot of power outages
I have mine but
One of my children has theirs out
But they have a generator
Its all good
Just another wake up
Call to be prepared

Also some areas have church cancelled
So Ill soak in the tub of the
Scriptures today

We don't have 'ice storms' like you do by we do get really heavy snowfall which can bring the country to it's knees. I do confess that i am such a little nester. I love a cosy coal or log fire with lots of candle-light and it's snowing outside....i can take or leave Summer.......too much UV light hurts my head.... I don't think we will have a good Summer this year, i reckon it will be about 2 weeks in August after the kids are back to school.....

Our summer is coming
Slow but sure
I love the sunshine at my back
Or on my face
I just feels so goid and refreshing

Spring is great.....the air feels fresh and clean and the birds start to go nesting crazy...

I have to admit
After such a cold winter
The birds are pretty frisky
Sometimes as they fly by in
Near contact
I yell out"get a room" in jest
Good thing no ones around to hear
It. Nature is anazing
I just laugh

They say maybe snow again tonight
Sure is cold out now
Especially with wind
And its almost may
But tomorrow is suppose to b 17C
Sooo. Odd

No snow but still
Cold today
It says plus 8C but feels
Colder due to West wind
Hopefully May will be better
