SAW IT AGAIN LAST NIGHT

Postby Canadian Jayne » Wed Dec 29, 2004 5:00 pm

I went back last night to see it again,
the theatre was about half full this time.
I wanted to see the other's reactions, I love to analyze. 8)
I think this was is a shocking movie for people because it doesn't
put Jim in with the other movies he's done.
Jim loves to SHOCK
After I think, people say " that was good" it is another thinker movie, makes you think after you've seen it. The message at the end is great.
It truly makes people realize what really is important. :P
I'm glad I went again. :D
I clapped after but no one followed through.
I AM THE "Lone Clapper"
I think people expect something different, maybe more laughs :o
but I LIKE THE DIFFERENT, the SHOCK EFFECT, is like the ripple effect. :o
i LOVE the movie, I wonder if there will be a NEXT.....?

I saw it last night. WHAT A COOL MOVIE! I loved the retro-tech feel of everything. It was like a sci-fi movie about the "future" that Victorian era people might have produced, LOL

Jim was ~as usual~ fantastic, and the strongest actor in the film.
Love me no matter what,

Ok, since I've seen the film twice now, once with my mom and once with my dad, I will give a review of it. *SPOILERS AHEAD* I thought the film was very good even though lots of scenes from the books were cut out. Many people didn't like this, but sorry folks, all movies based on books have to have scenes cut out. Anyways, My favorite part was at the end when Violet was reading the letter that never came. I was actually crying in that part because she was reading it with such sad feeling. I also liked the Puttanessca scene. It was very funny to my mother and I when they found the noodles in a drawer full of dirty tools. And of course, I liked the end credits. They were so detailed with the pictures of the hot air balloon and many other things. Soooo, I give this film an A+!!!!! :D

I saw the movie in our new Utopolis..in the netherlands
I liked it, but mist the action.
Jim is super in his transforming off the count olaf etc.
The sceenery are beautiful made...
:) overall a nice movie , but not the best off Jim,,,I liked Dumb and dumber, and ace pet detective and liar liar and bruce almighty the best.
But i am a great fan off Jim, and will see every movie he makes, he is uniek.....

Jim je bent een groot acteur. je kan zoveel personen spelen, echt super..
ga zo door.
i like almost every film he makes, he makes me smile and laugh..even when i have a wrong day.During the time i was in hospital with cancer.if i thought off his movies, i was happy, when it was a difficult time for me...
i would like so to meet him before.....

I saw it last month and I have to say it was quite good! But, if Jim Carrey wasn't in it, I most likely would not have seen it. He is just so good, though and made the movie a new favorite.

I've seen the movie three times since it was released and I love it to bits. Yes I think I would still have seen the film if Jim wasn't in it because I loved the books before I even new about the film. So Jim starring in it was a added bonus for me. :D *MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS* The film itself was ver very funny and had me in stitches most of the way through. I loved Capitan Sham and his leg. LOL ...and the way he talked to Sunny! Oh yes and the ending where he has to do everything that the Baudlaries had to go through. LOL Oh God I loved it all.

I saw it ages ago, but I didn't really like it that much. I wouldn't watch it again. Jim was a boring character in it, I prefer when he is the funny guy. The cinema was emptying throughout the movie. I'd give it 3 out of 10.

Canadian Jayne,

I was the "lone clapper" too :o

Kristen Baudelaire,

I saw the hot air balloon too~ I really like the art work :) I think I'm going to stay all the way, until the credits finish next time.... I want to see it on Jim's birthday :D

I forgot to give a mark :?
