true love....................

i've 'settled' and it erodes your soul...................

Someone one told me the REAL key to happiness is marrying your best friend, the one who makes you laugh, the one who makes you feel comfortable and safe...........but the one you can be silly and have fun with too.........
Sure the red hot passion might cool a bit, but the laughter and the fun don't have to................that's why some folk are still together 60 years later............it IS about soulmates..............the one who 'just Knows'................and you 'just know' him..........it's as if you can read into each others souls and understand the turmoil and make sense of it.............

i live in hope...........

Romantic or Realistic.........?

I'm on the computer most in my spare time. I'm hosting a trivia tournament on another board in 1/2 hour. I need to work on scaling down my online time...although I do learn a lot.

Have you ever been snorkeling? (I haven't.)

Bicycle , BIcycle, BICYCLE!

Although I've decided pillion would be fun on a motorcycle.

A bike gives you exercise, though.

Do you like Elvis?

Normally I don't hear his music but some songs are funny. You must see by the way the movie "Bubba Ho-Tep" with Bruce Campbell who plays old Elvis there. Very funny.

Do you prefer winter or summer?

That's a REALLY hard one....................i ADORE winter..........i love everything about snow................and i get really excited about Xmas from Halloween on...............i get the coal fire ready and have huge roaring cosy fires.....light candles and snuggle up with the cats(and boyfriend?) in front of the telly...................if it's snowing outside it's just magical............
Then we have bonfire night on Nov5...........the city does big public display and the kids have their own ones...........i Adore fireworks too......so pretty, so special..................
But the biggy for me is Xmas..........i start singing Xmas Carols in September...........and i play them in the car....and in the house.........and i put up my tree and the fairy lights............sigh
I can honestly say i'm worse than the kids for excitement.....I LOVE XMAS.............new year can be up or down.............often it depends on the weather here.............but i like to go out in the countryside on New Years day for fresh air and a nice country walk.........a positive start to the year.........

now Summer here is not a certainty..........for example it's June and we had snow last week................but when it's here it's gorgeous...........
But the lack of a real Summer here is what probably moves me to tears when i am somewhere so pretty in the summertime............

So i reckon it's Winter out of the 2..............but i love Spring too!!

Spring or Autumn?

I love Spring, but for me...autumn is just so beautiful with the changing leaves that are like God's pallette.

Roses or violets?

depends...........sometimes ignorance IS bliss..........sometimes the fear which accompanies Knowledge is more destructive......
A mixture of both is the ideal situation.................I know we're supposed to strive for greater knowledge but we can't know everything.....so learn what you need and derive pleasure from what you don't need but enjoy anyhow............besides if we were all a big bunch of 'know it alls' then we wouldn't have anything to learn from one-another.....we'd already know it all!!!............

So a mixture is best......

what's your biggest weakness..........?
