Happy Diwali to everyone!

Correct me if I'm wrong jimliker,
This day is celebratory because according to legend King Rama returned home after 14 years in exile. So the people in his kingdom welcomed him and celebrated with lights and sweets.

Cut to the present, I like the lights and sweets, but the fire-crackers get to my nerves :shock:

Hey MAV i like the soundless crackers....like the sparkles. I luv to light up my house. I brought so many ethnic gifts!!! esp Lord Ganesha's idol surrounded with wonderful chinese lights which give the effects of "lits" (jyot) 8)
