Cheryl, I haven't spoken to you for ages, I need help

I found out today my daughter was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy, I thought of you when she told me, since then I have gone to the hospital to find out what it is, I found out though with immediate medication that all should be well unless my daughter has an underlying condition that is attached to the problem. I thought of you and how you're mom and you must have felt when you had an initial diagnosis. My heart is still pounding and there are still concerns and I pray that this stem cell research will find hope for you.

I couldn't think of any other way to get your attention and I figured you would read your birthday messages, I was so stressed out yesterday and really worried. I remembered that I think in your initial diagnosis they did not know it was Ataxia?? is that right? I'm worried my daughters condition will get worse, what she has is nerve related. Sorry to bug you. But, since my memory is so bad I couldn't remember where to find your story etc., You have dealt with doctors and know how to deal with them, I think my daughter may have to have a brain scan, it that what you had? She has to take something like 16 pills at one time. The one side of her face has gone numb.
And some kind of electrical test, do you know anything about that?
Sorry, I'm just a worried mom.

I do hope you have had a great birthday, party hardy!
