I had a tremendous time at JC Penney Outlet. I got a lot of things I needed for a little over 200$ . They have a room in back for returned items which are marked down.
A tall guy with dark hair came in looking around who's demeanor reminded me of Jim.

I love those treasures in the marked down bin....especially if Jim's demeanors hangin' around....

I'm thrilled with what I got. I got more than I expected to.

Do tell, what did you score? - I LOVE shopping successes - I saw a really nice plum colored suede winter jacket I wanted for Christmas - it was in a consignment shop but it was in mint condition...anyhow I asked my mom to get it for me - it was $60 - she couldn't manage to get it and gave me cash for christmas - I walked into the consignment shop on December 27th and it was still there only it was on Sale for $30!!! Yahoo I love it!! and the price was definately right!

Well....let me preface this by saying...I HATE shopping, with the exception of grocery shopping.
Especially someplace like Target...I mean, I don't have anything against them....but it seems so homogenous. Like the store has determined how people should decorate, what they should wear, etc. It's a little Stepford for my liking.
Anyway I got a Queen Sized comforter that has a beautiful relaxing pattern on it.
20$
Got two pillows
20$
I forget everything...
A rug for the bathroom 10$
A shower curtain 10$
Nothing excessively girly....
I'm definitely all female but the pink flowered stuff....no THANK YOU!
I got 1$ washcloths - really nice
3$ - small towels
4$ large towels
I got pots and pans.
Basically, it was cool, because Mom was having such a good time helping and we were throwing something on the cart every 5 minutes.

Nice Score - well done. The comforter is a definate bonus - where the pillows synthetic or down & feather??
I'm not into shopping at all myself for the same reason ....everything in our home was either built by us, a gift, a free find, or purchased from a yard sale...we are creative to say the least....I can spend hours in a large store and see nothing that appeals to me, whether it be free or not. I've basically decorated our home with our treasures that we've aquired along the way...more personal that way...unique.
