my grandfather died today, 92 years old.....he just passed away, I think that must be the best way to die, just sleep and never wake up..Im not that sad, I mean he was old, and everybody is going to die sometime anyway, and now his time was over...

thanks, but life goes on, and its totally normal that people die, and as I said the man was old, so there is nothing suprising about that , but of course it is a bit ...strange when people die.

thanks.
You know what, I know this might sound wrong, but I think its better for him now, cause before he was living at a nursing home, and all he did was to eat and sleep all day long. He has lived a long and good life and now his time on this earth is over..

It doesn't sound wrong....it sounds like you understand and accept and share life and love. Big hugs to you and God Bless Grampa.

I think I'm getting hermity.

I was always a home body, but I think I'm a burgeoning hermit.

Nina: sorry to hear about your Grandad. :( My own Grandfather is in a nursing home, in a wheelchair and doesn't recognise any of his family now. It's no life. He's a shadow of his former self.

Quirky: well, as long as you haven't taken to boarding up the windows and ordering your groceries to be delivered to your apartment so you don't have to step outside.....
I am quite happy being by myself at home (not that I have that happen much!) but I think I would struggle with the hermit lifestyle. :curtain:
Everybody should believe in something.
I believe I'll have another coffee!
