hi mandy, i've also have seen high strung, i am not so sure if it was
a tv movie because what i have heard about it is, that steve odekerk made it and he wasn't happy with it when it was done and had it go straight to video, and that it is no longer being made, i know these because i tried having it ordered at a video store and they told me at first that they could get it for me, and that i would have to pay for half of it then and the rest when i picked it up, and that it would take a week or two that they would call me when it came in, but weeks went by and they never called me, so i had to go and talk to them about it and then they changed there story staying that they could not get it for me and that it was not being made anymore, they didn't really want to give me my money back, they wanted me to use the money that i had given them to buy something else with it in there store, but i didn' wish to do anymore buisness with them so i had them give me my money back. so that is why it is so hard to find a copy, i finally did find a copy on ebay and the funny thing is the copy came from cincinnati, were i live about 20 mins. away from. if you are looking for a copy mandy, that is most likely going to be the only place you are going to find it. and also on the cover they try to make it look like Jim is in ever scene in the movie he isn't, the most that you see of him is in the last 7 or 8 minutes of the movie, and flash scenes during the movie. i hope these helps you.

I watched it two times on VHS. Jim is cute, I think he's wearing eye liner, when he drives a limo playing the character of 'death'. It's in 1994, so 12 years ago. I like the part where you see a blonde 'girl' in a white dress from behind, she is sitting in a meadow on a picnic blanket. The camera zooms in, she turns around, and its Jim Carrey, (dressed up as a blond with longish hair) , he smiles with these big teeth. REALLY SCAREY!

i really enjoyed high strung, to me it was worth the trouble of finding
it. i like steve odekerk and having him working with Jim on screen was great.
for some reason Jim did scare me many times during the movie.
but he scared me too during cable guy. i scare easily.
