You're not stupid. That is just 1 of the symptoms of depression. I get that way too as I am sure you have noticed on here. Plus my mom likes to point out all the stup[id stuff I have said and done all the time. So that doesn't help. But anyway. You know you are not stupid deep down inside I am sure. YOU WON FREAKIN' JEOPARDY 2 TIMES!! If you were stupid you would never even made it on the show.
