We have come to the end of another year here at JCO and theres' no time better than at the end of a year to look back as well as forward in the life and career of Jim Carrey. The famliy comedy "Mr. Popper's Penguins" was released in theaters and now available on DVD and Blu-ray. A big success. Grossed more than $200 million!
Also this year Jim Carrey appeared in a sketch from the website 'Funny or Die'. Last week they uploaded Drunk History Christmas. Jim Carrey as Santa, don't miss it!
In May Jim Carrey made a funny guest appearance in the season finale of "The Office". For which he now is nominated at People's Choice Awards.

Jim Carrey promoted "Mr. Popper's Penguins" on many talk shows. His schedule included the following shows. Click on them to check screen captures in our Gallery:
Access Hollywood, Extra, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Late Show with David Letterman, Live with Regis and Kelly, Today Show and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
Talk shows weren't the only times Jim made public appearances this year. He attented the Brazil premiere in Rio de Janeiro and US premiere in LA and had many appearances at award shows: Guys Choice Awards, MTV Movie Awards and Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards.
In March this year Jim Carrey and his Better U Foundation was in Haiti. They were visiting schools and agricultural areas and promoted the revolutionary rice production method to those involved in farming the crop. Check many photos in the Gallery.

JCO IN 2012
Next year looks very interesting. Jim Carrey turns 50 in January. And same month there is production start of "Burt Wonderstone" in Las Vegas with Steve Carrell. This will be Carrell and Carrey's third movie together.
Jim Carrey spent many hours in 2011 in his art studio in New York. It is expected that he is going to exhibite his paintings and sculptures at Heather James Fine Art in Palm Desert in March. It is called "Nothing to See Here".
