Live Updates all day - World Premiere of The Bad Batch

Jim Carrey's new drama "The Bad Batch" has world premiere today at the 73rd Venice Film Festival at 7:15pm Italian time. It will not be the only event today. A press conference is planned at 2:30pm Italian time, which we can watch on live stream. Later on today before the screening of the movie there will be a photocall and red carpet. It is also possible to watch on live stream.

Jim Carrey Online will bring small updates with photos and text during the day in this article, on Facebook, Twitter, VK and on our Snapchat. Tonight and tomorrow you can read more detailed about the day and get some of the reviews.





Update 8:
They now sit in Sala Grande and "The Bad Batch" is shown for the public at the world premiere. It has been a very interesting day. After the press conference we know more about Jim Carrey's characters. We know that Jim Carrey speaks no words in the film, but has an important part Amirpour explained "He's kind of like the soul in this harsh environment,". "In the script it was just a few scenes and there's no dialogue. You send a part like that to a big actor."

Update 6:
The press conference has begun. As expected Jim Carrey was not there. The movie is presented by the director Ana Lily Amirpour, producer Danny Gabai, executive producer Eddy Moretti and the main character Suki Waterhouse. You can watch the press conference live at the link below. Later on we will have a summary of the press conference on JCO.

Update 5:
First 2 clips from "The Bad Batch" has been revealed just few hours before the world premiere tonight at Venice Film Festival. Thanks to The Playlist. The clips shows two scenes from the movie with the main characters played by Suki Waterhouse and Jason Momoa. Wow, it looks great. Take a look here:

Update 4:
A few details about "The Bad Batch". The drama was filmed from April 12, 2015 until May 24, 2015. We know that Jim Carrey arrived to the set on April 18 and filmed with the crew for 5 days. His part in the movie will be small. So far there have only been released 2 official movie stills and a summary. No details about Jim Carrey's character.

We hope to know more after the press conference and of course the screening of the movie.

A funny note. Today on this date in 1998 Jim Carrey was in Venice for the same festival we are writing about today. He attended the world premiere of "The Truman Show". The press conference for "The Bad Batch" has been announched by the Film Festival. It will be today at 14.30 Italian time. You can watch the whole thing on their live stream here:

Cast member Suki Waterhouse has arrived to Venice. Also the director Ana Lily Amirpour is in Venice. She came Sunday evening. On the photo is Suki Waterhouse. We do not have information about how many cast members will arrive for the Festival.
