Holy Niagara!
25 Jul 2002 At last more details have surfaced on the upcoming "Bruce Almighty". According to The Buffalo News, the movie will in fact be filmed not only at Buffalo, N.Y., but also at the Niagara Falls. On location shoot is now scheduled for next September.

Still according to the newspaper, key scenes will be shot at the Erie Basin Marina and Niagara Falls. The Niagara scene, expected to take place in the third week of September, will feature Jim Carrey on the deck of a Maid of the Mist tourist boat.
The scene initially also called for a live stunt with a barrel going over the falls, but due to lack of approval from the authorities, the barrel scene will be simulated in studio. The Niagara shoot is scheduled to take three days.
