1997 MTV Movie Awards
19 Apr 1997 MTV announced today (April, 17th), the nominations for the 6th Annual 1997 MTV Movie Awards. Jim Carrey got a nomination in three of the awards' categories, for his performance in "The Cable Guy" (see list bellow).
MTV is going to air a special, during which this year's nominees will be highlighted, so be sure to tune in to MTV on April 21 at 11:30 a.m., 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 (ET/PT).
The awards ceremony will be taped on June 7, at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, California and broadcasted on the 12th of June.
