For those looking forward to next Sunday's Academy Awards, the night is about to get brighter. It's been announced that Jim Carrey will be one of the presenters at the March 2nd event which is hosted by Ellen DeGeneres and will be aired live on ABC. No word yet on what he'll be presenting, but it's certain he'll make quite an impression when he gets on stage.
I'm definitely gonna watch the ceremony now! Oh and by the way.... I will be able to record and because it's transmitted live... no subtitles... although there will be two commenters talking from time to time. They normally shut up during speeches so I may get good footage of Jim!
I'm a guardian of the spark... I'm a God damn and proud good fan... and I love it! = )>
Thanks for sharing( the Look Back(almost said Black) clips.
He does wear black at the Oscars doesn't he What about some Red and White for color socks and tie will do or does everyone have to always wear Black at the Oscars Yes, Black is beautiful but can't we have a touch of color
It's wonderful that Jim Carrey will present an Oscar tonight after 10 years. I believe one of these days, he'll be nominated for an Academy Award and win. It'll happen someday.
Yes, it will happen we don't know when or how but it will "Just need some Patience" sing to the "Happy song" Go Jim Go! Have a great time at the Oscars
I think I asked that question about Oscar the Grouch last year too.
Bravo to Ellen, Jim and - top leading man Matthew McC and top leading woman - Kate Blanchett Goldie Hawn did an excellent job as a presentor also and to those who brought the top film to production 12 years a slave I missed some of the beginning of the movie, I stopped b4 I walked in, I hate to see violence so I covered my eyes when those parts came. I wanted to cry like I did when watching `The Butler`.
Sometimes when I do family history I come across horrid similar stories of sadness and injustice, it amazes me continually to see what people have gone through and amazingly what people go through today. It is true when it was said that there is still a demand for movies about women. I agree. There are many heroines out there, we just haven`t heard many of their stories.
If we did, perhaps history wouldn`t keep repeating itself to it`s detriment.
Jim was great as usual! He was the second presenter of the night and I recorder it! I have to warn you though about 3 things. First, I had to uploaded on vimeo cause I know YouTube will take it out... Second, I recorded this live from my country Portugal, who happens to have a narrator to talk now and then.... so in the begging before Jim starts talking the narrator says in Portuguese that he will appear in Dumb and Dumb To... Finally I have to apologize for the quality... the TV isn't HD so the quality of image isn't the best. Yet it's better than if I had recorded from a camera so.... enjoy!
OMG watched it live with my son we loved it!! Cried, totally covered in tears!!! It was perfect! I think becuase Jim was the fisrt to seal everything was amazing right after his amazing presentation composure just being himself....i was smiling so hard i sware big time
