"That's not acting that's just weird"

Postby Carreylover » Mon Aug 19, 2002 5:14 am

On Time Asian Magazine they interviewed a director that said he hate Jim Carrey because he did faces the 3D animation does and then he said "That's not acting that's just weird." Is he right? I mean I am now thinking maybe he is good because only his facial expressions. What do you think?

He's very good because of his faces (I don't have to tell you how hilarious his comedies are, nobody can make such faces!), but he's also a very good actor when it comes to something serious. He don't need his faces to be good. Think of The Majestic! He's brilliant!

3D faces

Postby Kay Jay » Mon Aug 19, 2002 2:50 pm

Well, that's one of the things that make Jim so special. He can do those faces by himself, not with 3D animation software!
Besides all that, Jim is also a very good serious actor. Just watch "Man on the Moon", "The Truman Show" or "The Majestic". He doesn't make any single 'crazy' face on those movies and he shows he's a great actor!

*** Kay Jay ***

Here I come to save the day!
