I think this movie is just another attempt to make money. This summer Freddy Vs. Jason was going to come out but it's not anymore because of this movie. If Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels were in it I wouldn't give a rats ass if Freddy Vs. i agree that d&d 2 should have Jim and jeff back... they were the best part about the first one! how is the second one going to be anywhere nearly as funny without Jim?????? it shouldn't be a PREQUEL it should be a SEQUEL!! i don't even know if i will go see it now, people are saying it's not gonna be good. :-( <p></p><i></i>

It's sad to say - but Jim has already done a follow up to Ace Ventura so there goes your theory and when Dumb and Dumber by far has been his best to date - It just don't seem fair to his audience who loved the movie... They easily could have taken the 2nd movie right over when the girls asked for 2 oil boys to rub them down... I apologize to you in advance. The reason i might rent it,is because I like Eric Christian Olsen's performaaances a lot and he seems like a nice guy. He might be an idiot for being in Dumb and Dumberer,but in general,he's a very smart man and he is not a dick,he's very nice. You might be thinking he's those things.
