anyway it's cool. They had a lot of fun together and they talked about the green rug incident and interviewed in the strangest poses, he accidently spilled cola, they talked a lot about his childhood and all origional questions.
it is about half an hour long and Jim pulled a sheet from a set table hahaha so everything got smashed.
and they did an endless goodbye where Jim would keep reentering the hotelroom.it was the last interview before he had to go to Germany.

Ruby rocks. They had great chemistry together. It was a blast to watch and he was very energetic but obviously having a complete blast. And I was about the same watching it.

I was still in freak out mode because my vcr turned to have anything but bbc programmed so I had to reset allll the channels like 5 minutes before it would air and got all pissed and frustrated but hey whatdoyaknow, got it fixed RIGHT on time. Finished hit record. Prendo. :-D. Presto. Whatever. It worked. me happy. wieeee.weuuuh.woooo.
cableclair

www.soiledmypants.com<-- my site
Failure isn't failure unless you give up...

I have to say that the highlight was the table-cloth pulling incident, A classic "I really shouldn't laugh at that, but I will because he just did what everyone else has always wanted to, but never had the nerve" moment.

More hysterical perhaps was when a "mortified" Jim, tried to explain to Ruby why trashing a £750 hotel room wasn't actually a good thing because "these people let us have this room...."
to which a now hysterical Ruby replied "No we PAID them money for it!"
So....................
With a shrug of the shoulders Jim went to "trash" it a little more!

I watched it again, and I must say it was hilarious! My Mum said she thought it wasn't funny, but she was sooooo wrong! I loved the bit where she said we paid for it, and he kicked the sandwiches across the room... then did a Bruce, and picked them back up!

The stories he was telling were dead funny! I just laughed all the way thru! I also liked the impression of an Englishman, now that was brilliant! His endless leaving was funny too, I'm like that when I'm leaving someone's house! The titanic impression made me laugh, and when she finally thought he had gone, and he knocked the door AGAIN! Just made me crack up!

Anywayz, see ya!

Jennaxx
It's better to go after something special and risk starving to death than to surrender, if you give up your dreams, what's left?- Jim Carrey.

"It's all fake. I didn't think the interview was that good, it was all just Ruby Wax trying to be funnier than Jim.
The thing where he tried to pull the table cloth out was funny tho, but my mum said it was 'disgusting behaviour'

sigh

Catherine

I think it was funny as @#%$. I don't think Ruby intended to be funnier than Jim, I was actually relieved to see someone finally getting off straight-interviewing-mode for a change :-D.
cableclair

www.soiledmypants.com<-- my site
Failure isn't failure unless you give up...

I don't like Ruby wax but Jim was cool.

I think she's far too self absorbed to be a good interviewer, I mean has anyone seen her do an interview where she doesn't end up talking about her own mum, and her own mental illness? Okay Ruby, we know your mad and your mum was mad, now lets talk to Jim Carrey!
The table cloth pulling thing was hilairious, You have to understand they were in the most expensive hotel in London, and that tea set was worth more than I get paid in a year, to fully understand how funny it was, and also why some people would call it disgusting behaviour.
it gave some insight into him, but people always ask him the same questions. I'm training to be a journalist, maybe one day i'll get to interview him, then we'll hear something else. Yeah in my dreams.
