Jim Carrey will pay tribute to Morgan Freeman

Jim Carrey will attend AFI’s 39th Lifetime Achievement Award ceremony, which will honor his "Bruce Almighty" co-star Morgan Freeman. The 73-year-old actor will be honored for his many legendary performances including Unforgiven, Seven, Million Dollar Baby, The Dark Knight, and many others. Carrey has previously spoken for other AFI honorees including Steven Spielberg, Clint Eastwood, and Meryl Streep.
Other members of the benefit committee will include Ben Affleck, Eastwood, Tom Hanks, Ashley Judd, Helen Mirren, Mike Nichols, Jack Nicholson, Brad Pitt, Sidney Poitier, Robert Redford, Tim Robbins, Spielberg, Hilary Swank, Denzel Washington, and Alfre Woodard. The event will be held on June 9th at the historic Stage 15 at the Sony Pictures lot where many film classics like "The Wizard of Oz" were filmed. It will later be aired on TV Land on June 26th.
